Sarah completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Chemistry and minor in Mathematics at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2007.
In 2008 Sarah received first class Honours in Environmental Science and mathematical modelling and joined the Katestone Team as an Air Quality Consultant. The Honours project titled Modelling the atmospheric deposition of nutrients: Pumicestone Passage case study involved research into the impact that the poultry industry in the Pumicestone Passage Catchment is having on the water quality.
Sarah’s expertise includes aviation safety assessments, the use of internal Katestone Environmental programs, data conversion and analysis, and the use of meteorological and dispersion models including AUSPLUME, TAPM, CALMET, CALPUFF and ISC to conduct air quality assessments.
What do you do at Katestone?
I utilise skills across a multitude of areas including reporting, dispersion modelling, emission estimation, data presentation and analysis and project management to conduct detailed air quality studies and assessments for various facilities and industries.
